For Sintron Smart Plug / Switch Home Series. it will only connects to 2.4G Wifi. So you must make sure the WIFI is at 2.4G band.
Please keep in mind:
- All Wi-Fi routers have a 2.4 GHz band.
- Newer routers are often dual-band router, with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
Check How many Wi-Fi SSID name networks do you see that belong to you?

I see ONE network: If you only see one Wi-Fi network name that belongs to you, you can proceed with setting up your device with this Wi-Fi connection. Most of the time, it's 2.4G WIFI, Unless you turned off 2.4G on purpose.

I see TWO or more networks: If you see two or more Wi-Fi network names that belong to you, then one may be a 5 GHz band.
in this scenario , you can log in the router and confirm. or the practical way to get it connected, is just to try both SSID together.
